You stay in the tree for some reason. You also decide not to read the sign, which was probably a good idea as well. You cling to the leaves of the tree. You feel really bored. You look over the horizon You see a faint, black and shiny circle in your eyes. You rub them (while holding onto the leaves) but the circle doesn't go away. In fact, it gets bigger. Turns out it's a cannonball. It slams your face at the speed of light, ripping your head clean off. The rest of your body tumbles out of the tree into an Aarakocra's mouth. It appears that the last blow was too much for you. I'm afraid that you are dead. As you take your last breath, you feel relieved of your burdens. The feeling passes as you find yourself before the gates of Hell, where the spirits jeer at you and deny you entry. Your senses are disturbed. The objects in the dungeon appear indistinct, bleached of color, even unreal. > examine me You appear to be made of a translucent floating white substance.
