<graph><graph> <chess></chess> <chem></chem> <feyn></feyn> <music></music> <go></go> <teng></teng> <tipa></tipa> <tangler></tangler> <plot></plot> <section></section> <ling></ling> <wegame></wegame> <tabview></tabview> <schem></schem> <gvideo></gvideo> <greek></greek> <aoaudio></aoaudio> <aovideo></aovideo> <dynamicpagelist></dynamicpagelist> <batik></batik>

I need help on how these work! Please?

I need the easist and shortest explanation you can!

If you put something on most of them, something similar like this will appear:

This is pdfeTeX, Version 3.141592-1.21a-2.2 (Web2C 7.5.4)

Please?--Toungebud 04:34, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Because wikia suck and most of them don't work properly. Most are extensions to LaTeX. The one I want to see working most is <teng> Which lets you write in elvish. How awesome! Spang talk 11:43, 23 May 2008

Oooooooh..... I wish I knew how to use all of these tags...... if only there is instructions somewhere.......—Flutter (TalkGamesFun PagesAwardsHelp) 23:13, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Hey Spang, do me a favour... every time you are about to say "Wikia suck", please can you think "have I asked for this to be changed?". If the answer is "yes", then please go ahead with the conclusion of suckage. Otherwise, please either install ESP into Wikia staff, or ask for what you want. This is your monthly grump by your friendly Wikia staffer. Thankyouverymuchforlistening -- sannse<staff/> (talk) 10:08, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
They don't have ESP already? All my telepathic messages have been for nothing?! That sucks! Spang talk 17:43, 25 May 2008
Are your messages mostly about watching animals hump? If so, you're sending them to the wrong person. Please stop. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 20:57, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Here's some instructions to use once Wikia stops sucking.  Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize  writings  SU&W) 21:04 May 25, 2008

They may look way to complcated for me to learn, but eventaully i'll learn them all. Practice makes perfect—Flutter (TalkGamesFun PagesAwardsHelp) 23:53, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Alright, so far I have learned those Dr. Skullthumper pointed out. Now These are left:

<tipa></tipa> <tangler></tangler> <section></section> <ling></ling> <wegame></wegame> <tabview></tabview> <schem></schem> <gvideo></gvideo> <aoaudio></aoaudio> <aovideo></aovideo> <dynamicpagelist></dynamicpagelist> <batik></batik>

But the <music> extention don't work here! I tried the examples!--Toungebud 01:46, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

That was my point, they're listed as being installed here, but most don't actually work...
Anyway, here's what they all are:
tipa: WikiTeX extension for displaying phonetics. <tipa>\textipa{/f@"nEtIks/}</tipa> (not working)
tangler: Allows you to include a tangler forum on a page. <tangler tid=42186 gid=27665 /> Produces: <tangler tid=42186 gid=27665 />
section: Allows you to include a specific section of a page marked with <section> tags. Like in User:Spang/test3. Only works as part of DPL though - {{#dpl:title=User:Spang/test3|include=line3}} produces
ling: allows attribute-value matrices and parsetrees. Whatever they are. And apparently both have been replaced by <graph>, so we don't even need this.
wegame: Allows for including a wegame video. <wegame weid=Counter_Strike_Cartoon_Version 300 300 /> produces: <wegame weid=Counter_Strike_Cartoon_Version 300 300 />
tabview: lets you create dynamic tabs for showing different parts of pages, much like the tabs in preferences see here. doesn't work, but it would be nice if this one did.
schem: schematic wikiTeX schematic
gvideo: google video. Use: <gvideo gvid="id" width="width" height="height" />
aoaudio and aovideo: archive.org audio and video - <aovideo aovid="id" width="200" height="200" /> or <aoaudio aoaid="id" width="123" height="456" />
dynamicpagelist: old version of DPL.
batik: more wikiTeX.
Spang talk 03:26, 30 May 2008
Thanks. I took a look at Special:Version, and I found these new ones:

<mainpage-endcolumn> <mainpage-leftcolumn-start> <mainpage-rightcolumn-start> <dpl> <verbatim>
I don't get ling, aoaudio and aovideo, though.--Toungebud 00:26, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

No one is repling? ;_; I'm just curios to know *sniff*--Toungebud 23:42, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
Most people don't know either! DPL is dynamic page list, lets you create lists of stuff based on various criteria, it's pretty awesome!
The mainpage- ones, on the other hand, are truly evil and signify that the endtimes are upon us, and make wikia suck even more than before, a feat thought impossible by many.
The aoaudio and aovidea ore for audio and video from archive.org. Verbatim, I've no idea. Spang talk 03:36, 19 Jun 2008
Anyway, thanks for the help, hopefully i'm in a lookout for further help.--Toungebud 18:49, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
