Something that has bothered me before but should there be at least some sort of quality control for work that appears under the 'Recent Articles' link on the front page? I am not talking about whether the article is VFH material or not but if it was one that would normally get a maintenance template on it to be improved if it fell foul of Uncyclopedia's house rules. For example, Miscarriage was tagged and yet it is still there in the Recent Article list. So I would suggest any article that gets a maintenance template is automatically barred from being added to the Recent Articles queue or the link to the front page removed if it has all ready been put there. Then the writer can improve on it elsewhere. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 17:47, July 4, 2011 (UTC)

Ok..well removed the link and on another article which had been tagged. Left notes on both discussion pages if the author wants to get back to me for that decision. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 06:07, July 5, 2011 (UTC)
Thank you to everyone for participating in this forum (exits, pursued by a Bipolar Bear). --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 17:58, July 6, 2011 (UTC)
I agree completely. While the Recent Articles box is a bit hidden on the Main Page (read, "You have to scroll down to find it") there should be some quality control for it, as it is Main Page. The standards don't have to be too high - it they're newly made articles, after all - but I think it's inexcusable to have VFDable content on the first page readers see. ~ Humbuck.png Talk 00:37, 8 July 2011 (UTC)
Hi Humbucker! Since no admin/crat has said anything to contrary, then removing a front page link for an article with an 'improvement etc' tag appears to be acceptable. I removed the link for Nazi Poetry after the author agreed to return it too his own page for further work. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 07:59, July 8, 2011 (UTC)
