“Why is everything yellow?? He is like some sort of banana, but he isn't wearing pajamas”

~ Oscar Wilde on Tracy's strange banana clothes

Dick Tracy is a rather popular comic book detective, created by Chester Gould.

He first came around sometime when there where all of those weird gangsters, but his fame soon snowballed, and he was the big comic hero. Remember, this was in a happy time before Garfield, and Ziggy, where there was such a thing as a decent comic, and you could actually read the paper and MAYBE just laugh. Anyway, He had to encounter many, many strange villians, such as "Little Face Finney", "Flattop", "Footnose Fillis", "Head that is oddly mishapen and unpleasant to look at" Jones", and many many more. All of these villians where defeated, and helped make an unnecessarily large rogue's gallery. This large amount of villians is a good thing though....merchandise. The height of his fame was in the 40s, or 50s, or 60s, or 70s, one of those four, but his fame suddenly died...and now only old people, and a few people who mysteriously like old comics know anything about him. He did live through a quick comeback, when a movie was made. It featured Warren Beatty-eyes, Madonna, Dick Van-Dyke I think, and some other people no body cares about. It didn't do that well, and the next generations haven't, and never will hear about Dick Tracy.

The Villians[edit]

There were a lot of villians in Dick Tracy, and I mean A LOT, seriously. Hundreds of villians, most of them were pointless, but some weren't. It is also noted that most of them had some sort of odd facial feature (Little Face, the Blank, the Brow) and their name usually just repeats it...except for Breathless Mahoney, and PruneFace (That was his real name...poor guy).

The "Head that is oddly mishapen, and unpleasant to look at" Jones stage[edit]

"Head that is oddly mishapen, and unpleasant to look at" Jones was a horrible murderer

"Head that is oddly mishapen, and unpleasant to look at" Jones was one of Dick Tracy's worst villians, he was ugly, and his head was oddly mishapen, much like a lemon. He was a villain of Dick Tracy during 1965, and he was known to KILL PEOPLE. KILL PEOPLE. He killed some old guy, and some other old guy, and yet another old guy. Dick Tracy got pretty pissed off by "Head that is oddly mishapen, and unpleasant to look at" Jones, so he made it his goal in life to capture him. This was the story for a lot of years, until Dick Tracy finally got "Head that is oddly mishapen, and unpleasant to look at" Jones stuck in a sewer. "Head that is oddly mishapen, and unpleasant to look at" Jones took his gun and shot it at Tracy, and it hit the wall. Dick Tracy took his gun and fired it at "Head that is oddly mishapen, and unpleasant to look at" Jones, but it didn't hit "Head that is oddly mishapen, and unpleasant to look at" Jones. Thats when "Head that is oddly mishapen, and unpleasant to look at" Jones took a run for it. He ran

outside, and tripped over a french poodle. Tracy found "Head that is oddly mishapen, and unpleasant to look at" Jones on the ground. He bent over to pick him up but "Head that is oddly mishapen, and unpleasant to look at" Jones got up and smashed a bucket of some sort of liquid on Tracy's head, but Tracy dodged it and it swung back around and hit "Head that is oddly mishapen, and unpleasant to look at" Jones on his head. "Head that is oddly mishapen, and unpleasant to look at" Jones fell over, and Tracy threw him in jail.

Head of Book Jonson[edit]

.

Probably the smartest of villians...because his head looked like a book.

Head of Book Jonson was probably one of the smartest villians that there was in Dick Tracy...probably because he had the head of a book for some reason. He ended up getting his commuppance in the end, but the real story was that he was the first straight up gay Dick Tracy villian...even though The Blank acted gay, he never came out. Anyway Head of Book Jonson was gay, and he ended up dying because of it. His partner was indeed not a boy, but a vat of poison...which killed him

Headless Husko[edit]

Headless Husko...the lamest villian

Headless Husko was probably one of the stupider villians in Dick Tracy, all Tracy had to do was say "You are under arrest" and arrest him. He didn't put up a fight or anything. Its even unknown why he was arrested...but he had a DANG fasionable over-coat

The spinoff series...Duck Tracy[edit]

Dick Tracy is not to be confused with the duck "Duck Tracy" which was a duck who wore a yellow suit...and flew...All Duck Tracy did was fly, sometimes he fell asleep, sometimes he stopped to eat, but basically he just flew. The series was on for 2 episodes, one titled "Duck Tracy Flies" and the other one cleverly named "Duck Tracy flies some more" Duck Tracy had some friends in this short-lives series, they included Bonny...the duck, and Franklin...the duck. Basically, the show sucked, and they are now replaying the two episodes on TV-land.
