Ree

Coined in 1248 as an insult by a rival of English Duke Alfred Von Ree (e.g. "Thou dost be a preposterous ree"), the word was minimally used until the zoomer generation popularized it from the early 2010s to 2016, chiefly through the YouTube personality "Ree Kid". The use of the word declined significantly from 2017 to 2021 as it was considered "old" and "dead."
