English[edit]

Noun[edit]

Punch card (plural Punch cards)

  1. A means of controlling access to the punchbowl. Each time one accesses the punchbowl, the punch card is hole-punched. After five trips to the punchbowl, access is denied. Example: Dick punched the puncher to prevent him from punching his punch card so that he could get punched up at the punchbowl.
  2. A card that permits the holder to punch someone. Example: Dick displayed his punch card, then punched the puncher to prevent him from punching his punch card so that he could pinch as much punch as he wanted.
