Welcome to the Mother Ship of amateur comedy writing! (Amateur means we don't pay you to do it.)

This is where the original Uncyclopedia wound up. You might as well pick a user name. We have no "partners" that want to sell you stuff. Giving your email simply lets you recover your password; we don't send spam. Uncyclopedians get a talk page, private edit area, and a welcome, maybe, if you actually edit; and we won't de-platform you for your views, if they're funny.

Film Categories[edit]

I think we should clarify what genres there are. If we are to simplify genres as much as possible it would be as follows: Main type is either live action or animated. So we choose what category it goes in first. Then the sub types:

Action, Comedy, Drama, Horror, Thriller, Sci-fi, Foreign and Documentary.

If we want to go even further then we can group the above 8 into more subject matter oriented types: War, Western, Mafia, Post-Apocalyptic, Cult, Musical, Art house.

So what happened to the action and drama subgenres... someone removed them? Modern Hollywood cinema isn't a category I've heard of, we should use categories people are familiar with and all the video stores I've been don't it. TheUnbeholden 04:17, August 29, 2011 (UTC)

Citizen Kane[edit]

MadMax, can you explain why you reverted my addition? In general, how long do I need to wait after the VFD before I can validly "relist" an article on the Requested articles pages? --Pentium5dot1 t~^_^~c 19:35, October 3, 2011 (UTC)

I redirected it to Citizen Kong. I'm pretty sure VFD'd articles can be listed immediately after they've been deleted. MadMax 20:29, October 4, 2011 (UTC)
