Uncyclopedia talk:Ignore all rules

I think that Uncyclopedia:Consensus should be noted as being non-ignorable as well. Both rules are adopted from Wikipedia and are an inherent part of the wiki process. This section from the page on Wikipedia explaining what "ignore all rules" means notes that consensus is non-ignorable:

"Rules derive their power to compel, not from being written down on a page labeled "guideline" or "policy", but from being a reflection of the shared opinions and practices of a great many editors." (Wikipedia:What "Ignore all rules" means)

I'd say consensus could be ignored if the result was a) funny, and b) didn't involve being a dick, and it's pretty hard to get consensus if either of those aren't fulfilled. So I think that addition is a bit redundant. • Spang • ☃ • talk • 11:36, 12 Aug 2007
