Sorry, gang, but laughing at or making light of genocide is where I have to draw the line on humor. Maybe if you used your time on savedarfur.com you might feel better at the end of the day.

This, my freind, is actually a statement about how the genocide is being completely ignored. I'm not trying to make light of the genocide, I'm satirizing the motivations of the kurrent administration. --THE 19:35, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

I like it. --Ouzo 18:56, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Biting sarcasm at it's best. 81.149.182.210 21:47, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Though the reality is, in ten years, oil won't be so important due to abundance of ethanol fuel and electricity powering cars. They are making a car that runs on 100% battery, and it costs only a couple bucks to charge it up. 65.27.139.162 10:29, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Stop trying to police the world! -Hippies,

Stop letting the world go unpoliced! -Hippies, the next day.

Are you calling me a hippie? /me bursts into tears.
But honestly, there's a difference between honestly trying to help a country out by trying to end a genocide and bombing the country's capital and killing thousands of citizens, as we did at the start of the Iraq war. People are opposed to the Iraq war not because it's us trying to be the "world police," but because it's a dishonest, meaningless war against a country that had absolutely nothing to do with the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and has done nothing but destroy Iraq to the point of almost total anarchy. I don't want to get into an 800 year political debate here, I'm just pointing out in this article that it's interesting how we've completely ignored the genocide in Darfur, and continue to. Would we if they had oil? --THE 22:21, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
It is a pity the savedarfur.com supporter couldn't understand the subtext of this nice piece. Oh well. Can't win them all. 125.27.30.118 08:47, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
