I get doing satire, but...liberals are the ones historically for higher taxes and increased socialism/communism. Yes, conservatives are generally those who believe in enforcement of morality, but by and large, they don't actually try to pass those laws. Think about it - who is trying to pass socialized healthcare, gun control, anti-free speech laws? Which groups are it that violently and dare I say seditiously attack free speech and personal freedom?
Just because conservatives may disagree on the legality of abortion (something that is very much not clearly within the given rights) does not mean they are the party for "stifling individualism".
Just my two cents. If this article was intended as parody against those who claim conservatives do this kind of thing, then never mind, I was too blind to see it.128.211.190.160 09:13, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
