For the record, it's been voted for deletion at Wikipedia, so there's no talk page to discuss it at since 2009. It's not dead, exactly—it's become standardized as a CSS class on most wikis as the wikitable class. prettytable is supported for some places, but it's non-standard and wikitable should be used instead.
