This is such a brilliant idea... I promise to leave it alone now:}--Sycamore (Talk) 14:52, September 24, 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, if you can run with it feel free....I do enjoy a good collaboration now and again... -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me)
Had to come back to this, For an episode I was thinking that you could do a Lacanian Psycho-analysis theme. For example the Islanders would have to negotiate the Real, the Imaginary and the Symbolic in order to get supplies off another nearby Island. The 'Others' would of course expect them to undergo these trials as proof that that were 'able' to survive and be worthy of it. They would have to seach inwards for the spiritual motivation, however in doing so they would undermine any possible belieg in God. Essentially their intellectual underpinnings would weaken the possiblity of faith.--Sycamore (Talk) 14:18, October 4, 2010 (UTC)
- I've tried to focus it in a bit and add some kind of coherent structure. I think the quote could go?--Sycamore (Talk) 10:50, November 18, 2010 (UTC)
- Just read this again and have to say I'm really impressed with the additions, somehow a vaguely amusing idea has blossomed into something damn funny. -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me)
