i am emo and even though its on the uncyclopedia, its kinda funny and a little accurate

Not all emos cut themselves and are depressed. Person who is emo can just mean they listen to emo music. Or maybe over emotional. Anyone can cut themselves and anyone can be depressed.

emo has more variation than all that. like, that could be any person, any group. yeah ... don't have to be seriously depressed, ok? .. pretty varied fashions, habits, likes, and "hate that" ... colors that look good under black lite, use in "moderation", black makes the other colors jump ... pastels should look bizarre ... talk to my other era ... 1920's maybe, some Victorian funeral gear .. then a little ninja touch ... don't have to wear skulls ... don't have to look dead ... smiling is overrated ... must have anime hair ... must have scissors ...

What this article on 'emo' says is not true, in my opinion. the person or persons who have wrote this piece on 'emo' have been very stereotypical with therefore makes the article not entirely true and very offensive to some people.

Um, isn't being stereotypical and offensive kind of the point? Isn't that part of what makes it funny?? Jeez! If you want facts, go to wikipedia. This site is for humor!! Go check out the entry on Les Stroud...........and then tell me about how accurate uncyclopedia is. It's NOT supposed to be accurate, it IS supposed to be funny! (was that funny? okay)

maybe, but it is'nt a well known term, so if peepz want to have LOLz bout emo's (or what they think this is) they get mad and kill people.some of us emos are good but some are not good that have anger and some have problems
