OMG! 's all!! -- MAq was 'ere

Condoms are long, flexible tubes, mostly used for the covering of goats' legs and blunt objects.

Origin of the condom[edit]

Why are there two different explanations for the origin of the condom? (1. "The word, condom, derives from the latin word, condonium, ..." and 2. "...is named after the town of its modern origin, Condom, in southern France....") I went ahead and deleted the first one - unless this was meant to be humorous. 66.215.165.77 07:50, 1 May 2006 (UTC).
  • That'd be because when I set about fixing up the article, I didn't like what it said in the first place, so I wrote my own version. Because I'd only just registered that day, I didn't want to just wade straight in and delete stuff. I was waiting for someone else to do it; then I just forgot about it! That's why there may have been a few inconsistencies.--Seamus Mahoney 00:44, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Random deletions and additions[edit]

  • I've just been looking at the history of this article, and it's a mess! This is largely due to folk deleting huge chunks of text seemingly at random, and someone else coming along and adding little bits of material no funnier than what was deleted.

This all makes work for anyone who actually cares what this article looks like. Someone will eventually have to go through the article's history and reinstate all the good bits that numerous contributors have worked hard on (heh heh - I wrote hard-on).

Anyway, have fun, mate.
