Near Crowley's death he was living on twice the legal limit of pain killers of which his personal doctor prescribed. The doctor would come to Crowley's mansion to see him. Near the end, Crowley requested even more pain killers. When the doctor refused, Crowley cursed him and told him that he would pay. The doctor died immediately afterwards. It is rumored that anyone that came within one square mile of Crowley's mansion would mysteriously die. The gardner went insane and commited suicide.
This is almost certainly true. Everyone who travels within 1 square mile of Boleskine House where Crowley lived as a young man will die ... of old age if nothing else. --Zonk69 22:25, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
I read somewhere once that some author was writing a book debunking Crowley, and while working on it one day he got a phone call. So he picked up the phone and heard a screeching demonic voice informing he'd die if he finished the book. Now this strikes me as being one of two things...spooky as fuck or the biggest load of cobblers I've ever heard in my life. Ho hum. John Techno
