Ripple is an alternate form of Bitcoin that is, contrary to popular belief, not a cryptocurrency. Its name comes from Ronald Reagan's trickle down economics to show that Ripple only creates a ripple in a vast lake of resources in the universe that is worth more than you can imagine. This is partially true, but it provides a misleading picture of the coin.

Founding[edit]

Ripple was founded by Brad Garlichouse, the king of crypto centralization. His goal was to create a cryptocurrency that he owned a majority of because it was too expensive and possibly illegal to run a 51% attack on bitcoin.

Condemnation[edit]

The Ripple cryptocurrency has been condemned by the Church of Satoshi Nakamoto as "a distortion of the original bitcoin currency in an unintended way that is not approved by the crypto community." A poll has been taken on Reddit finding that 62% of users disapprove of Ripple's centralization who use the site and 13% have no opinion.
