You are in the foyer of what appears to be a fairly decent home. There's an open living room off to your left and a flight of stairs to your right, leading up. There is also a large, imposing door directly in front of you.
On hooks above the mantlepiece hangs an elven elfin sword of great antiquity.

As you have survived for one move, you have beaten Death at Zork.
"IT SEEMS THAT SOMEHOW I, DEATH, HAVE BEEN BEATEN. YOU ARE FREE TO RETURN TO THE LIVING."
Death steps aside, revealing the glowing round portal leading back to the land of the living.
You confidently stride towards it, but pause just before you step through. You slowly turn around.
> "Just one last question, Deathy Mc Deathdeath. Would you permit me to see what you look like underneath your cloak?"
Death pauses for an awfully long time before replying.
"WHAT? BUT WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO KNOW THAT?"
> "Oh, no reason. Except that, in the time it took you to answer that question, I have deducted that you... are not Death at all!"
"GASP!" gasps Death with a gasp.
