You launch yourself at the Grue, attempting to stick it between the eyes with the knife. However, it simply opens its mouth and bites your arm off.
As you collapse to the ground in agony, your arm bones become lodged in the Grue's oesophagus. The Grue is choking to death! In a final act of poetry, the Grue turns blue, thanks to you, before keeling over. You have defeated the Grue!

No..wait..my mistake. The Grue's choking reflex finally kicks in, and it convulses violently before vomiting copiously all over you. The combination of hydrochloric acid, enzymes, and bits of carrot digests your body from the outside, causing you to die in agony. Your last thought is an original joke about how vomit always has carrot in it, no matter what you ate the day before. If only you'd had time to put it up on Uncyclopedia...
It appears that the last blow was too much for you. I'm afraid that you are dead.
As you take your last breath, you feel relieved of your burdens. The feeling passes as you find yourself before the gates of Hell, where the spirits jeer at you and deny you entry. Your senses are disturbed. The objects in the dungeon appear indistinct, bleached of color, even unreal.
