Oliver was back in the orphanage. It was almost as if he'd never left. But Oliver had left. His voice had reverberated around London's theatreland. His picture had been plastered across every magazine. His name had been up in lights (admittedly, his name was the same as the name of the show, but still). But now the show had finished and Oliver had forgotten to ask for any money. Oh, why did Oliver let them pay him in gruel?!

And so Oliver was forced to return home to the orphanhouse. All Oliver had now was his memories. Memories of the TV cameras, memories of playing with the Artful Dodger, memories of his relationship with Denise Van Outen. These memories kept him company through the long, lonely, musical theatre-less days. They did serve good gruel here though.
