60? What happened to "It's better to burn out than to fade away"? Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 21:21, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
It's relegated to being sung by old poovy rockers when playing their vinyl copy of "Rust Never Sleeps"--DRStrangesig5.png Sherman.png Fingertalk.png  21:31, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Going by the popularity of this forum topic, I suddenly feel very old. Hold me. Not too tight, on account of the calcium deficiency. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 06:07, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Too bad I didn't join a few months earlier than I did. I could have started the RIP: Neil Hefti thread and had 99.99% of the populace saying.....who? Will Neil Young will garner more accolades when he passes than Crosby Stills or Nash? That's OK, I've resigned myself to being the old guy who makes unpopular threads about relatively obscure artistic icons who's influence is clearly present in modern music. At the imaginary musical Hall Of Fame, in the "deranged front-man" section, Lux Interior takes his place next to guys like Gene Vincent.

HEY KIDS! Did you know? That this performance was considered incredibly seedy for the 1950's because of it's relatively mild sexual suggestiveness and the fact that he was playing "that negro music" which uses a beat commonly associated with the "fertility rights of the jungle" and causes debauchery, drug use and unplanned pregnancy in white teenage girls.--DRStrangesig5.png Sherman.png Fingertalk.png  11:01, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

then the police threw them a basketball and the neighbourhood's been safe ever since --Nachlader 11:51, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
