I once submitted an article for Featured status, but it was rejected. I think I might want to resubmit it at some point in the future, but I would like to know...
- Can I do this?
- Is there a waiting period after it is rejected before I can resubmit it?
- Should I use both the Quazi-featured and Feature Nominee tags if I resubmit it during voting?
- If I am rejected a second time, should I use the Quazi-featured tag twice?
- The article in question was Evil Illuminati Adolf Hitler Clone Society. All of the votes against (i.e. all but mine) cited that there was already too much Hitler. Any advice for overcoming this problem? -- Lenin & McCarthy 21:29, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- replace Hitler with {{Monster}} --Mindsunwound: (F@H) Peek & Pie Man Babies 22:32, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- Given the article already has Hitler in the title, you can't really "overcome" it that easily. There's just a lot of Hitler jokes in articles, a lot of users have gotten tired of them. In order for any new Hitler stuff to get featured, it would probably need to be well above and beyond the rest of the nominees at the time, in terms of quality. Just, uh, keep trying at the article. Also, we recently had the Hitler reskin, so some might see it as a bit too early to do another Hitler featured article. --User:Nintendorulez 22:48, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- You can do it. As yet there are no rules against renominations, however many users tend to look on quick renominations rather more critically than other articles. The QFH template shouldn't really be used for articles that were removed from VFH with a negative score - it's mainly for articles that had moderate support but not quite enough to survive. —rc (t) 22:51, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
