Welcome to the Mother Ship of amateur comedy writing! (Amateur means we don't pay you to do it.)
This is where the original Uncyclopedia wound up. You might as well pick a user name. We have no "partners" that want to sell you stuff. Giving your email simply lets you recover your password; we don't send spam. Uncyclopedians get a talk page, private edit area, and a welcome, maybe, if you actually edit; and we won't de-platform you for your views, if they're funny.
Forum:"The Importance of Being Earnest" page
"http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/The_Importance_of_Being_Earnest/Text/Act_1" Isn't that funny. Infact, it is the real play. I have edited most of the top part, but it's just too damn long. I think that if someone can take over it, that would be great. Thanks. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 207.5.155.83 (talk • contribs)
- It's our cultural heritage. Don't be messing with our cultural heritage unless you know why it's our cultural heritage. Shall I say "cultural heritage" again or would that be getting a bit too repetitive? --Whhhy?Whut?How? *Back from the dead* 14:12, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, but see, this is a site for funny things. Yes, The Importance of Being Earnest is a funny play, but this site is for contemporary comedy. Also, making fun of Oscar Wilde by writing fake quotes and making fun of his secret life is this site's cultural heritage. Plus, you have to admit, the play is full of sketchy parts. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 207.5.155.83 (talk • contribs)
