These are sad people, often celebutards, who experiment, engage in or pretend to be homosexual or bisexual. Many times this manifests itself in photo opportunities, impromptu or planned, where said celebutard will be caught in a compromising position and gain access to increased media attention. A special case of fauxmosexuality is the so-called faux lesbian, a woman who pretends to engage in lesbian sex for the entertainment of men, primarily members of the Republican National Committee of the United States.
