A bath bomb or bathroom explosive is an explosive multicolored device that is intended for use in a bath for recreational purposes. Commonly, after detonation it will send glitter all over your place, an intended feature used as a pseudo-flashbang. Following this, most bath bombs have a strong scent intended to overwhelm the target.

The US banned them in 2001 after concerns from the September 11 attacks.

History[edit]

The bath bomb was invented by the terrorist group Lush Cosmetics, specifically co-founder Moe Chara in support of unspecified terrorist groups.

Moe was inspired by the fact that nobody would expect a toy to smuggle explosives. Quoting from him :

"You know, nobody would've ever expected it... nobody, until they became mainstream terroristic devices before we got a chance to attack. DAMN YOU AL TORPEDO!! [sic]"

Production[edit]

Although bath bombs are typically spherical, they come in a multitude of other shapes such as :

  • Spherical
  • Rocket
  • Cube
  • Nuke
  • Triangle
  • Oval
  • Disk
  • Tiny plane

The reasoning for most of these is because they are either heavy or aerodynamic for combat purposes. Usually military grade bath bombs include a decompiled glide bomb, a decompiled smoke bomb, girl perfume, and colored sand. Rarely they may include a tiny vial of acid in there too.
