Ok, so i made my template and all but how do you make a template name? For example - when you want to enter a template in an article you would put the two brackets with the name inside. Except I can't do that. I mean, I could just use the Templatetitle thing, but thats not really what i want. Help anyone? Thanks --Hell0ihateyou 01:41, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

Are you asking how to insert a template into a page? You use the template name surrounded by double curly brackets, e.g. {{Templatetitle}}. Sorry if that's not what you're asking. —rc (t) 01:44, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
Well i was kind of asking how to create my own template name, whereas if you wanted the conspiracy template, you would put {{Conspiracy}}. I have a Tom Hanks related template ready to go, and I would like to be able to insert it into a page with {{TomHanks}}, yet all i can do is insert {{Templatetitle}}. I appreciate your help.

You mean like this? You know people hate templates, right? Well, not all people. Just the ones with taste. Templates are a sign that you care just enough to not put a lot of though into it. Adding good material to a page is better, but harder. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 02:52, 19 May 2007 (UTC) Template:Falwell
I don't see why that shouldn't work...

Yep, it works. In other words, I have no bloody clue what you can't work out. Icons-flag-au.png Sir Cs1987 UOTM. t. c 13:28, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
In other news, I had hardly any clue who half these people were before slogging over to Wikipedia (except dear old Tom). Which kind of suggests they're not very suitable templates for non-US-centric pages. Also, they're "approves" and "disapproves" templates, which automatically makes them very similar to nine million other things on here. Expect merciless pruning real soon... --Strange.PNG (but) Untrue  Whhhy?Whut? How? *Back from the dead* 14:39, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, we've been trying to get rid of as many "Jesus Approved", "Chuck Norris Approved" etc templates as possible recently because, quite frankly, I find them even less funny than Euroipods, and many people agree with me. Icons-flag-au.png Sir Cs1987 UOTM. t. c 14:48, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
